CIC Company, a Chilean company in the retail segment with more than 100 years in the market, is mainly dedicated to the manufacture and distribution of mattresses and beds and provides what is necessary to offer a complete solution for home decoration. Hand in hand with Extend IT, CIC Company decided to optimize and reorganize its logistics area to increase efficiency with one goal in mind: reach all customers in the shortest time possible and with the highest quality of services.

After an in-depth analysis of the market proposals, CIC implemented the Oracle Warehouse Management System (WMS) logistics management solution, a process for which they decided to rely on the expertise of Extend IT as a consulting and development partner. The initiative involved a deep analysis of the processes and the incorporation of a new technology infrastructure to support the solutions that were being implemented. The project lasted exactly nine months and went live without a single day’s delay. Based on the solution provided by Extend IT, CIC has the essential information in a timely manner to optimize its logistics processes and accelerate associated decision-making: from the status of each operation to pending shipments, from prepared loads to the yields of each resource. Today we have a complete traceability of the operation, highlighted Neumann Silva. The mere implementation led us to improve all our processes, which is a benefit per se.
